1) Wendler ElectroCoustic Bass

Built by Dave Wendler. It's a wonderful bass. It sounds more like a bass fiddle than anything else on the market and weighs only about five pounds.

You can hear a sound clip of me playing it and also a sound clip of Brian Gingrich (the first owner of the bass). You can read the review I wrote when I bought this bass.

The body is made of red cedar. The neck is maple with an ebanol fingerboard. Dave bought the neck from Mighty-Mite. It has a piezo pickup built in to the bridge and a humbucking pickup. The controls are attached to the pickguard...volume and pickup blend. The instrument is passive (no battery or preamp). The bass is strung with Thomastik Jazz Flats which you may never need to change.

2) Hohner Acoustic Bass Guitar

Small acoustic bass guitar. It currently has Thomastik Acousticore strings whch are nylon strings, giving it a very sweet sound. Also included are GHS Phosphor Bronze acoustic bass strings which can be used if you prefer a louder, more present sound.

Fiberboard case and leather strap included.
